Jan has truly been such a blessing for my teenage daughter! She has such a compassionate heart! She is a Godly woman that has effective ways of dealing with pains and hurts. I am so thankful for her and the help she has been giving my daughter! The location at Fairview Missionary Church is close to home, which has made it convenient to see her. I would recommend Jan to anyone who is seeking healing!
I really have loved coming to Janice. I had a hard time looking for a Faith based/ Christian counselor. I drive a half hour just to make our appointments. I have loved the understanding, professionalism, and knowledge that I have received with Janice’s counseling. I appreciate her very kind and therapeutic interventions. I have been coming for about 10 months and feel much better about a hope and a future. Thank you so much. There are so few counselors in my area so it is so vital what you are doing!

Several years ago, the summer of 2002 I came to you for a short time. My husband of plus 30 yrs. had asked me for a divorce. I was devastated, but you helped me have confidence in myself again.

I wanted to thank you for leading my mind and heart into places it needed to go. The way you led me not to believe the negative thoughts in my head as brought peace beyond understanding. I have gone through many hardships and changes the past years…my sister committed suicide and grandma passed. I followed my wife to Toledo, and started a new job. Also, all the kids have been living the teenage years. Through it all….my faith has stayed strong and I still wake up knowing that God loves me, even when I don’t want to love me.

Jan is the best therapist I have ever had. I respect her calm warmth and appreciate her genuine regard for others.

I came across your website, saw your resume which confirmed that you were the counselor at the children’s home , now youth center that I spent some time at in 1974. What I remember is your absolute kindness and calming effect on me when I was traumatized and filled with hurt and anger. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comment. I am thankful I could be a part in helping you experience some calmness after the trauma you had been through.
Janice brings sincere warmth, understanding, knowledge and expertise in Christian counseling into every session I have had with her. She has provided a safe haven to share emotional scars and pain.
It was through a series of tragic accidents that left me devastated that I sought help from Jan King. Her calming influence quickly put me at ease. Her obvious deep concern and incredible insight are continuing to teach me the tools that I need. I’m being left with hope that for so long eluded me.
